The kids and I rode skyfari at the zoo last Friday. Other than a slight nervousness over the potential for losing my shoes, it was great fun!

We've ridden this thing a few times before. It amuses me that one thing that will likely never grow old is the conversation we must have about the impressive size of rhinoceros dung. It is really quite large!

First day back to babysitting for the summer and the girls created Woz. Built? Invented? At any rate, he's fabulous.

What better way to kick off summer break than a nightly viewing of our favorite movies?! It's something the Hubs and I like to do together - we both love movies!!

Sadly, we lost Olly in the transition to their new home. Otto seems to like it though. The kids are so excited, a fish tank has been on their wish list for a long time. I'll admit, it is fun to watch him swim around. :-)

Yesterday (seems like...), she was in kindergarten.

In two weeks, she'll finish elementary school.

This Friday, she's going with a friend to 'fun day' at her new middle school.

For the next 6 weeks or so, this will be our spot a few times a week. Softball-baseball-softball-baseball-softball every week until June 20th. I love how that makes it FEEL like summer.

Hubs and I have been to Wicked twice. The last time was in 2011 when we celebrated our 10th anniversary with 3rd row seats. We're going again on Saturday, I'm so excited! This time the kids are going along and I'm thrilled to take them to their first musical at the Orpheum. It's one of my favorite things to do, I hope they'll share my love of theater.

It has been an emotional week around our United States. Sometimes that means that we have to just be happy about little things. Here in Kearney, that means a lovely new grocery store that sells beautiful food to us. It may seem shallow, but sometimes you have to hold on to the little things and just pray about the rest.
