Tonight was Bee's last basketball game of the season. Looking forward to a new normal, a break of sorts. No sports until softball starts in May...it was fun while it lasted, but I'm excited for the change!

It's daddy daughter date night around here. The neighbor's have a ride for us and it's her very last one (grades 1-5 attend...). It is a NIGHT TO REMEMBER.

A little bit of sunshine had the kids creating their own Olympic Games outdoors yesterday. I'm loving their scoring system!

Today I was able to debate with a 7th grader about why Michael Jordan is the best basketball player of all time (and LeBron James is not...yet...). THAT was just good fun.

A break is a wonderful thing...three days off and I felt rested!! Back to life on Monday, but feeling very grateful for little breaks in the routine!

Spent a little time tonight with a friend who's got a baby and a toddler. It reminds me so much of those days when I had a baby and a toddler. She's got a girl and a boy too. Then my own two, now ten and seven, independently bathed, brushed their teeth, and got into bed. As I tucked them in and kissed them goodnight, I realized how great it is to enjoy each phase we are in. This phase has some definite perks!!
