Spontaneous Santa Sighting

We went to the mall last week for jeans (both kids are growing, what'dya know). I like children's place two for jeans (2 for $22 for our little guy, 2 for $28 for B). I like that these jeans are adjustable and good quality. I seem to have trouble finding jeans that fit these kids. But anyway...I digress.

So we wandered into the mall and we spotted Santa. Hey kids - do ya want to go visit him?

Woo hoo!

An unplanned visit to talk to the big guy. A chance to tell him what we want without waiting in any lines (I told him I want a merry maid - okay, not really). It was great!

I couldn't resist the poor quality, high priced photo.

B told him what she wanted and luckily it has been the same thing since September. Our little man was reluctant, but finally walked up to St. Nick and said with a confident wave, "Hey Santa. I want some trains." Okay then.

I love moments like this.

Very cute. My December mall phobia is already kicking in. I'm such a chicken.

I opened the store last sunday and while waiting in line at the cookie place for a cup of coffee, I noticed a gentleman on my left. He had hair white as snow, balding at the front, a big white beard, pot belly, and was wearing a red shirt and shorts. I figured he was "Santa off duty" and then got to watch as every child in the area tugged on their mom's dress to point out Santa!!

I loved it. Glad B and Lil Man did too

I have the same issue with jeans and pretty much all that fits my girls are CP as well. This year though we had to go up a size for Papoosie Girl due to her obsession with things being tight, then I had to have them altered! Oh the drama of the jeans.

The Santa moment sounds perfect.

Oh, jeans. We have trouble there too. But what a score on the impromptu Santa visit! The lineup is the WORST. Well done!

Very cute! We actually have never seen Santa in the mall...until last year I always had at least one child who was terrified of the guy. We are going to see Santa later this week, and I'm actually worried about what they might say that they want. Usually they are very consistent...this year, they have been all over the place!

Ohhh - I want a Merry Maid too :) Love the pic - and I, too, love jeans from Children's Place :) Adjustable waists are must haves for most of my kids (especially Brady - or he would be a perpetual plumber ;)

Hope you have many more magical moments over the holidays :)

My kids saw Santa yesterday - The Girl got the closest (arm length) to him that she's ever gotten, mainly because she's nine now and, you know, basically is NOT a believer.

Ah, jeans. My bete noire. My girls are built like leggy noodles and my boy rips out in the knees in MINUTES. Good times.

Oh! Look how thrilled they are! That's fantastic. Mine won't go near Santa to save her life.
