Rent!

My cousin introduced me to the touring production of Rent, about 6 years ago? I don't even know the year. We saw it in Lincoln, and I loved it. I can't even tell you how many times she saw it.

Then came the movie, which I also loved. It's a great story and the music is soul-stirring.

The final showing of Rent on Broadway was recently filmed, with the original cast performing. It's showing in theaters this week and I'm going on Sunday with said cousin!

I'm just a little excited. Just a little.

Certain aspects of RENT are not to my taste, but I still enjoy it :)

Nice!
My oldest daughter watched Rent and decided she wants to be on Broadway someday because of it ;)

It was AWESOME! We had a great time (even if we had a little trouble finding the place!) and it was absolutely a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Besides having great music and a very hot Roger, watching Rent always makes me very grateful for what I have and the health of my loved ones.

I'm glad you had a wonderful time. I've never seen "Rent" but have always wanted to!

Actually, I believe the first time we all went to see it was in the 8 year frame. I still have the picture of it on my fridge!!!

We may have had some trouble finding it, but it gives us more goofy stories to tell our kids!! At least we knew we were safe when we saw the porta potty.
