Can't Contain It

I'm not sure why, well - maybe I KNOW why, but this article made me cry a little. It's just so BIG. So big.

And I'm so freakin' excited!

Maybe it's because since I started voting, I've been on the wrong side of the fence (in my state anyways, and I obviously don't think it's the wrong side...I digress). It's a fence I so rarely step off of. But in politics, I'm happily blue.

I've voted for runner up Dems so many times. For thirteen years now.

This is a biggie. And even if my state may not give their electoral votes to the guy. My vote went there. Mine was for Barack.

I can't wait for the ride!

Yeah!!!!!!!! PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!! I just had to put this in your blog. We can have a little "happy dance" in the back room on Thanksgiving.... I think Uncle Gary will join us. I'm so excited!!!!!!! Now the real work begins. We voted now we'll have to tighten our belts and make this country GREAT!!! again. I think Prez O will ask John McCain to do something in his administration. Seriously.

I got teary-eyed too. AND I can't even vote!

Plus McCain's speech made me cry, too! It was so sad, but gracious. Also, this morning when Palin gave her speech after voting up in yonder Alaska, I cried then too. But that was more out of hysterical fear that she might win. Thank heavens she didn't. Phew.

It's more than a little inspiring, huh? And I know what it's like to 'throw my vote away' and yeah, it feels good to have your guy win, for sure.
