I have a friend who is often done listening to me before I am done talking.
Not cool.
I have actually walked away from her because she is just done.
Also: People, do not check your phone for texts, or read texts, while a friend is in the middle of a story. Or at least explain yourself. It's just NOT NICE.

Yikes, I agree.
This rule, um, can't apply for small children, though, because if I waited for my kids to NOT be telling me a story before doing anything else, it would be impossible to get anything done.
Oh, I have a friend like this too. She doesn't walk away, but I can see her mentally switch off while I'm talking.

Oh no OM. How terrible. Actually I have family members that do that . . .no names to protect the not so innocent.
OMG my sister does this...or she will stop me MID CONVERSATION to talk about herself. Pisses me off!
We need new "tech etiquette" (techiquette). I think many people have gone "nuts" about being connected ALL THE TIME!
