Typical Morning

I'm scrambling around, looking for Brenna's shoes. She's watching Berenstain Bears, which she has done every morning from 6:30 - 7:00 this year. We've seen them all 42 times. We also have several of the books, so we know those crazy bears quite well.

I happen to be looking for her shoes in the t.v. room now.

"Mommy! I can't see the t.v."

"Brenna, I'm looking for your shoes."

"That's okay Mommy. Just don't look for them in front of the t.v."

Sigh. Never did find those sneakers, she's wearing flip flops with her sweat pants today.

Do you realize how much better than a baby book this blog is? How would you ever be able to get these moments all written down? It just wouldn't happen. Hope your day is going well and you are getting lots done. Jacque

Hilarious. Isn't she kind to let you look for her shoes, so long as you don't block the tv. Ha.

Find the shoes? The strange thing is our house is so small we can't lose stuff easily - there is really only one place we can keep the shoes.

Good reason not to move!

Oh my gosh is she funny! Just don't look for her shoes in front of the TV!! You'll be glad you have all of these funny conversations written down! You should send one in to those magazines with the "kids say the darndest things" columns :)
