Summertime Antipasto for Kids

We've enjoyed being able to eat right outside during the day this summer. I fill a tray with various things my kids will like and bring it out for them to eat with their hands. It works well since it's fast and convenient. I can run inside and have it together in five minutes or less. They drink water with it, happily thirsty from their active play. We usually finish it off with a popsicle. Since they're outside, there's no mess. No fuss.

It's a great way to do summer lunch!

You are so smart!!! I LOVE it when my kids eat outside but don't allow it all that often because it seems to be such a chore. This looks MUCH easier than "my way"!!!

P.S. "Tray"? Looks like a PC stone to me!!! **wink wink**

I LOVE eating outside in the summer too--by far the best way to do it!

I LOVED doing that when my kids were smaller. I totally prefer to eat like that now.

Thanks for coming by and entering the PIF contest. I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Wow, that is a really good idea. I know my kids would love it. They always want to eat outside, and I always secretly dread dealing with it...but this would be pretty simple.
