Well my spam is all about making my penis bigger so I can pleasure the lucky lady in my life. Damn. I didn't even know I HAD a penis, much less a woman in need of pleasuring.
Nigerian scam/419 scam/lottery scams are rampant lately.
If you have the time, forward the emails you get, with the full email headers, to the Abuse Dept for any email address listed in the message or the header in the "Reply to" field.
example: abuse@yahoo.com, abuse@hotmail.com (any for live.com can go to abuse@hotmail.com)
You'd be surprised at how many people fall for these types of scams.
I'm glad Melissa included that info--I've been spammed by these recently, along with those Viagra/pen*s enlargement ones.

I have heard that if you get one of the lottery ones and you open the email to look at it, that whoever sent it gets notified that you opened the message and you end up getting more. So if you see an email from someone you don't recognize just delete it. Once I started doing that I got a whole lot less of these kind of emails.

I get emails saying that One Of My Friends has hired a hitman to do me in, but for $50 grand, he'll spare me. I'll take my chances, thanks.
OMG!!!!!!! That is an all time low- a hit man. I am old enough to remember when chain letters were a crime. I think email threats should also be criminal. That's just sick....Oh, I believe I was the winner of those lotteries and the recipient of the inheritances. [I think your penises are just fine!]

Sorry to tell you, OM, but I already cashed in on all of those lotteries, so the ones you are getting ARE spams, mine were all the real ones. May as well just hit "Delete", because I already spent all the money on my lavish life I now lead!!!!
