Are We Tired of Talking About My Hair Yet?

Swistle asked for a picture of my manless hair. So here ya go.

I feel it worth noting that this is me, freshly bathed, before I have styled the hair. No style. I usually at least try to style it before leaving the house. I figure you don't care.
I stood in the aisle at the drug store for a loooooong time. I ended up with Loreal Preference, light brown. Since I had the highlights, it was going to still have highlights. I was glad for that. I was just mostly tired of the grown out roots and the amount of time (none) that I have to keep up blond hair. I like how my blond hair looks (usually) but am crazy-grumpy this week and needed a change. This was actually exactly what I needed!
I realized as I started this little project, in my bathroom, that I had no idea what I was doing. And that Jill was going to kill me. Jill would be the person who cuts/colors my hair. Who is licensed to do so.
I only did the top since that's all that Jill does.
It worked out better that I expected it to.
I like it.
I feel suddenly empowered by my brown hair. I have brown hair! Yay me! (Really, who knew my hair could take up so much of my time/thoughts? Who knew?)

Yay! You look gorgeous with the brown. It's not really dark at all, so it doesn't overwhelm your delicate features (can you tell I watch a lot of TLC?) It looks great, and if it saves you the stress of always looking at your roots, then woohoo!

I LOVE IT!!! It is amazing what some dye on the hair can do. Especially when you do it yourself and don't jack it all up!! LOL!!

YAY YOU!! As always.... beautiful!

Ok I am staring alternately at your family shot and your hair shot. You know I like the blonde it is nice, but the brown is YOU somehow. When you write and I hear your voice in my head...this is how you look.

I did the same thing this time last year. I was tired of having dark blonde hair and I dyed it brown and I loved it! It has lightened up again from the summer so it is time I did the same thing.

You look great and who could get tired of talking about hair?

You sure are purdee!

When it comes to hair colouring products: too much choice is a bad thing. It is overwhelming!

I never tire of hair talk. I do get tired of having it, and fancy pulling a Britney somedays. I didn't know that I thought so much about hair until I got a blog and now have a whole category devoted just to hair. I talk about it too much relative to the amount I've got!

I love our blogging networks. I was thinking TLC too. As Nick would say on What not to we@r, "This color really makes your eyes POP!"

Ha ha--I was going to write EXACTLY what MBG wrote! The color is great on you: it makes your eye color stand out, and it makes your skin look all golden and healthy.

Love it! I have self colored for years - and my hair dresser just had to accept it, as will yours. It is your hair after all!

In real life do you look like Reese Witherspoon, or only in this photo? You are hot.
